Same here - I assume its because mono printers have mono 4k screens as opposed to 2k lcd on the older printers. It's normal. My regular Mono outputs .pwmx as well. Some people are able to just rename the pwma to pwmb and get it to work but likely there are a few changes which only happen in certain situations.
