I was able to use a highlift jack under the rear bumper to get the shocks extended the whole way. With the wheels on it, it's still pretty stable. I wouldn't get under it and work it that way, but it seems to work fine for charging the shocks. BTW, 200 psi was plenty on the back of my XJ.
