Make one morw revokution on the crank using the timing marks and then check and see where your cams are tined at and you should see 2 timing marks on each cam. Your 45D probably has an advance curve and canister for a ported vacuum source.

Web26 jun. 2005 · phel69. Hey guys, we just tore the camaros front of the engine apart. We put the #1 piston at TDC (the distributer also was at the #1 spot) and we tore it apart. When we got down to the cam (gear) we saw that the little cam mark was 180 degrees out (it was pointing straight up, instead of down). This is the correct position for #1 at TDC.
