WebJul 7, 2011 · Yes, SCAG uses Ogura adjustable clutches. There are 3 adjustment nuts on the clutch. If you have over 500 hours, you'd be save giving each one a half turn. Today's switches are crappy. My SCAG WB has a metal toggle switch that you must pull, lift and release to engage the deck. It's been flawless. Today's plastic switches feel a little funky.
WebAug 7, 2024 · My Scag Tiger Cat with 19 hp Kaw engine was blowing fuses and also heated the wires to the PTO switch. Turned out to be the magnetic clutch. The plastic connector to the pto switch melted on two of the wires. Had to cut the connector to get them out.
